Dennis cut his IT teeth in the city supporting traders for an American merchant bank straight from university. He then moved onto a managerial role for a financial services firm delivering sensitive data securely across the country to franchisees. On returning from a tour of Iraq as an Infantry Platoon Commander, he identified two issues in the IT industry that few companies addressed adequately. Firstly, a large gap between the expectation on service and what was delivered, and secondly a similarly enormous gulf of understanding between business and technology providers. Delivering superlative service and making IT transparent and managable remains the over-riding aim of the company.
Dennis continues to extend and challenge his IT knowledge. He has recently accepted a limited role lecturing for the graduate training scheme at the Commerz Bank in the city for 12 days in the year.
